About

Hi, I’m Karl, Link to heading

Welcome

Good testing is harder than it looks.

Most firearm testing follows the same pattern: put rounds through a system, note what failed, call it validated. It feels thorough. It looks professional. But without a structured methodology and meaningful data, it answers the wrong question. It tells you what happened, not whether the system is actually reliable.

That gap between well-intentioned testing and genuinely conclusive testing is where products ship with problems nobody caught, procurement decisions rest on assumptions, and serious users stake their safety on results that don’t mean what they think they mean.

I built ProArms Tech to help close that gap.

The Background Link to heading

I spent 15 years working inside some of the firearm industry’s leading manufacturers. Over that time I worked across the full range from the manufacturing floor to testing and validating new designs.

That range of perspective gave me the gift of seeing how the disconnect in the process can happen. I’ve seen the same testing problems show up in different forms at multiple organizations. I know what rigorous methodology looks like and, just as importantly, what it looks like when something is missing.

I am currently preparing to launch ProArms Tech as a platform to help share the knowledge that I have gained, and for those who need a bit more I will also be offering consulting services. At the end of 2026 I will be relocating to Ohio, and this project will grow alongside that transition.
